There is a general ruling for the lower end basic safes that, if a safes is cash rated to £1k then the rating for valuables is 10x that, i.e. £10k for jewellery and such. £3k would be £30k valuables and so on.
Depending on the size of the safe you are ordering, there are various services offered at the point of delivery, these are as follows:
- Delivery Only
- Kerbside drop off
- Delivery and position
- Delivery and bolt down
Option one would be for the smaller more basic ranges, Kerbside drop off is exactly as it says, the item will be delivered and left outside the property and you are responsible for getting in into the location you require. Delivery and position again the will deliver it and place it where you require, but not fix it in position, again that is your responsibility and the final option does it all, delivered, placed and bolted down professionally.
I personally would recommend the latter two options for the larger safes and for the smaller safes if you are fairly good at DIY it is easy enough to position and bolt these in place yourself.
